The poor construction of this product result in very uneven apple slices - I get 8 thick slices and 8 thin slices. In addition to the blades not aligning correctly, after using it to core and slice 6 apples for a pie, several of the thin cutting blades were bent!
Great idea but very poor implementation. I'll be returning mine and trying to find a higher quality, fixed blade model.
