Customer Review: Fantastic Portable !!

Wow, is this unit nice! It's very compact and light for a portable unit with this BTU rating. It's roughly 12" x 12" at the base, and stands about 3 feet tall. It's very easy to roll around. I especially like that you don't have to drain it except in extreme humidity, as it vaporizes the water and blows it outside with the hot air exhaust. It's surprisingly quiet, yet the highest blower setting really pushes out the air. Given the low wattage requirement (<900w), I was concerned when I ordered it that it might not cool as fast as other more powerful units. However, after running it for 1 hour, it has already cooled 300 sq ft by nearly 15 degrees, from 99 to 85, and it's still going strong - I expect I'll have it down to 75 within another hour. I live in a small mobile home with a metal roof, which becomes as hot as an oven under direct sunlight. The remote and the timer make it very easy to control operation. I'm looking forward to seeing how the heater feature works this winter. This unit is the perfect solution for me, I'm so happy I bought it.
