The heater part of this product works great (that's really what I got it for). Haven't needed the air conditioner yet. The unit heats a building that is 280 sq. feet. the outside of the unit stays cool to the touch. I love the timer!

Description of Amcor PLM14000EH 14000-BTU Portable Air Conditioner with 4,300-BTU Heat
The Amcor PLM14000E portable air conditioner (cooling & heat) is designed to condition an average-sized room up to 400 sq. ft. Patented Evaporative Booster Technology - During the cooling process, water is extracted from the air as it passes through the unit. Most of this water is used to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently. This unit has a built-in water tank (not removable) with a drain outlet. When the tank fills, the compressor stops running. This indicates that the tank should be emptied. Included with the unit is a window mounted exhaust kit. AC must be vented via exhaust hose and window kit (included). If your room has a heat source such as direct sunlight or computer servers, the AC coverage area may be reduced.Portable Tools
